Cool Rocks!
When I was a little girl, I was playing in my front yard while my sister was watching over me. While I was laughing and throwing around dirt in the driveway, I couldn’t help but to pick up rocks and stare at them. Rocks have always interested me in some strange way, and even when I didn’t want to pick them up, I would kick them around and make dust as I walked (I still do! hahah)
But at this time when I was little, I went around and I collected rock after rock, carrying them in my little hands. When I thought I had enough, I went up to my sister, and by her surprise I gave them to her, stating them as “Cool rock!” I kept saying that to her. “Look, sissy! Cool rocks!”
Just about a week ago she reminded me of that incident, and now that I look back on it, I’ve really always been attached to rocks and nature.
So in this, I went out and bought myself an amethyst attached to a necklace in order to ward off bad dreams and spirits. It really is a cool rock, and I keep it tucked in my shirt close to my heart. <3
